Remix your narrative

The story of America is shaped by a dominant and false belief in human hierarchy. While we can’t rewrite the past, we have the power to change and challenge that entrenched narrative. By creating new, authentic stories that honor the complexity of the past and forge a more equitable future, we can chart a new path forward. To heal our communities, we must tell our own stories, the tales we believe will be our futures. Share your story and join us in remixing the narrative.

  • THINK about your story
How do some people see you vs. how do you see yourself?

  • CREATE your story.
Use your cell phone camera, make a quick video, create a meme, share a photo or draft a post to tell your story.

  • SHARE your story.
Post your story on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) using hashtag #RemixTheNarrative.

About Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation-led Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) enterprise is a national and community-based process designed to engage communities in racial healing and structural change efforts that address current inequities linked to the belief in a racial hierarchy. It is an adaptation of some of the most recognized Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) models.

"We need your voices, we need your truth.”

– La June Montgomery Tabron, W.K. Kellogg Foundation President & CEO
